How much does an acre of land cost in Arizona?

Roughly. I’m looking for something in southern AZ. Like Tucson area. Anyone know how much it would cost. And if I mortgage it, do I have to have a credit check or use my SSN?

Please, no rude answers, thanks!

Land sales are cash sales. There is no way to mortgage them unless you have other collateral you can put up for it.

How much the land will cost will vary by water availability and usage.

    Expect 80-200k.

Well, you can get one acre of desert for as little as 4000$ but the high end goes into the millions. I like to use Realtor.com, as they compile a lot of different data from agents, newspapers etc.

There is also plenty of owner financing. Put a bit of cash out for a down payment and the owner will sell the property to you on a contract. Usually the interest rates will be higher than the bank. 7-12%. Most sellers won’t require a credit check or SSN.
