What to stay in town in Door County, Wisconsin?

I visited 15 years ago, but now live in WI again. We're riding for a quick weekend away, but do not know which city to stay in. We walk through small shops, go to a beach, and is likely to take a carriage ride. You can take a bike ride. Is there any city in Door County better than another?

I just returned from a weekend in Door County. We stayed in that Ephraim was perfectly placed to drive up and down the side of the bay region. Fish Creek and Sister Bay would be my next choice. If you stay somewhere in the middle of the side of the bay as you can reach any of the other cities with great ease. Ephriam Fish Creek and are on both sides of the Peninsula State Park, with bike rentals available just outside the park. My friends who have been in the Door County, I walked to the Ephraim and Sister Bay, and I think it turned out great!
