Do I need a lawyer to foreclose on my house?
I live in Arizona and recently received a letter saying that my house will be auctioned next month, I need a lawyer or can I just walk from the house? Indy Mac may after me go home once it was sold? The neighborhood has become very dangerous and I do not want to live here, I'm so tired of sleeping with firearms. Please help! Thank you, Doug
Doug, Arizona is a state that allows deficiency judgments so if you all get away from the house. A walk before reaching the expulsion or foreclosure on your credit. I'm no lawyer, but I'm pretty sure that's what you say. Don'y waste your money on a lawyer. If you do not want that the house just taken as his opportunity to get out.
