The tax lien sale is held in person at the Gila County Courthouse in Globe (February 18, 2026); unsold liens can be bought over the counter after the sale ($30 list), and the books are closed January through March. The Zoning Ordinance (revised March 15, 2022) establishes GR, RR, SR, SFR and GU districts and exempts grazing/general agriculture on 5 or more contiguous commercial acres (36,000 sq ft each); wastewater (septic), floodplain and grading permits are issued by Community Development.
